We collect information you provide directly to us when creating an account, syncing integrations, or contacting support:
- Account Information: Name, email address, password, and profile metadata.
- Job Application Data: Information about jobs you scrape or track (company, title, description, application stage).
- Resume Files: Custom resumes and CV versions you upload, paste, or generate on our platform.
- Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and log statistics.
3. How We Use Google OAuth Data
CareerGlide allows you to connect your Google Account via OAuth to enable optional cloud productivity features. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
CareerGlide's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data.
Specifically, we request permissions to:
- Google Drive (
.../auth/drive.file): To allow you to automatically save and backup your generated resume PDFs and cover letters directly into a custom "CareerGlide" folder in your personal Google Drive. We only read and write files created by our application. - Google Calendar (
.../auth/calendar.events): To automatically sync interview dates and follow-up deadlines scheduled inside CareerGlide with your personal Google Calendar.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We only share your data with third-party service providers that are essential to run our service:
- Supabase: For user authentication and relational database storage.
- Stripe: For secure payment processing.
- n8n: For automated workflow triggers (such as sending calendar reminders).
We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal information or resume files to advertisers, recruitment agencies, or data brokers.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your information as long as your account remains active. If you do not integrate Google Drive, we automatically prune generated files from our transient Oracle storage after 60 days. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us or via your settings.
